TABLOID TOYS - November 25th @ The Fly.

Following up from our first party at The Fly, we are back with more musical friends this month for some more great music and partying, here are the details below:

"Brighton five-piece 4 or 5 Magicians are more exciting than the prospect of Paul Daniels actually fulfilling his long-running promise to leave the country under a Labour regime.
With lyrics so slick they make Alex Turner sound like a spluttering old colonel struggling with a cream bun and equal parts lo-fi bedroom fuzz and glorious art-pop melody (think Supergrass meets Shellac) we're struggling to think of one solitary loser who won't like this band. They're going to be the new Manic Street Preachers, but with less tights and guy-liner" NME

With the diversity of popular music at an all time low it´s the bands that don´t follow the same formula that really stick out.
While SoSaySo take their song writing cues from pop greats, mixing intriguing verses with irresistible choruses, it’s the multilayered orchestration between synth, violin, guitar and vocals that creates their evocative, euphoric, sometimes raucous, brand of `epic-pop´ so engaging and so different from their contemporaries.

Climbing out of their North London lair for another bout of Electro Pop madness. The 3 feline friends aim to bring you some exciting new material and new dance off moves this month as well as taking over the decks to play some of their favourite tunes from their cassette Walkman!

Tickets in advance £4
On The Door £6

Finest Fish & Chips In The North...

As boys from Devon, we know our Fish & Chips. Squires in Braunton easily the best.
However we did want to share this amusing find when we were touring the North East last week.

The Codfather in York. Genius!

Lion Music

There has been some debate over what music a Lion would listen to if it had the choice.

Sam 'Lions aren't into electro, more 80s easy listening like Sade or Deacan Blue.'

Ben 'Elton John would be the choice, following his work with them on that well know film.'

Jay 'They wouldn't like to be pigeonholed like that, Crowded House would be their choice, they might even be Bowie fans."

Any other thoughts? Send us a note.

New Blog - New Track

Afternoon All.
It was about time we got stuck into writing a band blog. We've been putting it off for some time.
To mark the rise of the Live Like Lions blog, we have uploaded a new track on the space for you all to enjoy.
It features Eliza Newman with beautiful backing vocals. We urge you to check her out as well, her stuff is a treat on the ear.
Right, off to Bugged Out 15th Party so time to put the dancing shoes on. x
